Hello Kal Lake Swimmers:
I did feel a bit like John Bosley as I was accompanied by three much younger and better-looking ladies on our assignment to the Painted Rocks this evening. I did get a hint of my status when they started calling me Boz.
The conditions were excellent as we entered 21 degree glassy water that was three degrees warmer than the air. Once we got to the Painted Rocks we were enjoying the surroundings so much that we almost forgot the time. We klatched about ATLS lack of refunds as well as the functional details and extraneous attributes of their towels. We went on so long that Kylie even got cold (but she wasn't whining).
We headed back just as a light breeze sprang up in order to deprive us of a glassy swim on the return. Everyone was careful not to whine (let alone snivel) about the waves.
We hope to have several more angels and guys on Sunday at 8:00. Because Monday is a holiday, we are also planning to get an extra swim at 8:00 on Monday morning. Hope to see many of you at least once at these swims.
