Night Swim 2024

Hello Kal Lake Swimmers:

We had to wait until dark to have the best turnout of the year for a lake swim. And what fun it was as evidenced by the attached pictures. The nineteen of us plus two paddleboarders had nineteen degree water and calm conditions for our swim/paddle to the pumphouse and back. Afterward we had hot chocolate, Bailey's, brownies and cookies to celebrate our survival of the dark water once again.

Thanks to Kylie for providing the evidence that there are so many of us crazies, all of whom contributed to a great summer of fun and fitness. And we're thankful to have had the lake provide such a wonderful backdrop for all of it. I hope that many of you have enjoyed being part of our group and, for those of you who didn't make it into the lake this summer, I hope that these emails will have inspired you to join us next year!
